One day of absolute laziness...

So today was meant to be a major KnK anime marathon that didn't happen, so from the time I woke up till... well, now, I've been in bed doing a Big Bang Theory marathon instead.

Woke up for some waffles as brunch, canned soup with macaroni cooked in a microwave for lunch and saw my two cats sleeping at random spots...

Flowering and blooming away while 47...

From Week 1-4, 2011
... mutated babies...

To refresh memories, it used to look like this when I got it:

What a sweet looking plant it used to be... hm... but at least it's still alive~! You hear that, tt? It's ALIVE! I haven't killed it. Yet.

From Week 1-4, 2011
Maybe because I haven't had proper food for the whole day, now that I do look at proper food, I get hungry ._. This was one rainy Sunday morning before church.

From Week 1-4, 2011
Breakfast at a cafe at Epping called Topiary Cafe. I never used to think Epping had anything but mediocre overpriced restaurants, but this cafe is pretty good. Still expensive, but you get good food! Smoked salmon with avocado, mushrooms and toast with eggs done any way you like. Apparently from reviews, their poached eggs are good.

From Week 1-4, 2011
Then I went to Chatswood after church to meet tt and went to the Japanese restaurant upstairs of the Mandarin Centre. There's only one, and I can't remember the name of it. That's my duck soba with grilled leek! XD Duck... hm...~

From Week 1-4, 2011
Comes with a complimentary inari..

From Week 1-4, 2011
The mathematician decided to go with boring teriyaki chicken =P

From Week 1-4, 2011
which came with a mini udon... pretty cute.

From Week 1-4, 2011
For starters, though it was so huge it could be considered a main, a buta salad~ shabu shabu style with sesame dressing. Colourful dishes~

From Week 1-4, 2011
Then Tuesday was another relaxing day. Had pancake in the morning at a cafe, Bondi Junction. Yea no, don't go there. Save yourself some angst and patience-training.

From Week 1-4, 2011
Night time was a catchup session with A, B and R at Mamak, Chatswood branch.

From Week 1-4, 2011
Nasi lemak with curry chicken. Not bad~

From Week 1-4, 2011
Teh Tarik~ super super diabetic-sweet.

From Week 1-4, 2011
B said this looks like someone sneezed roti onto the plate.

From Week 1-4, 2011
I didn't recall ordering the red onions one, I thought I got the omelette one...

From Week 1-4, 2011
Then they all bullied me when they saw I forgot to take a picture before cutting this into 4 pieces =( hey, it's not like I'm one of those food bloggers!

From Week 1-4, 2011
Tissu!

From Week 1-4, 2011
Wandered around after dinner to Hello Happy, Chatswood Branch~! This is their Japanese sweet, which I got because it looked pretty. Tasted like.. beans...

From Week 1-4, 2011
It's sad how we all got smartphones (all Android! Yay!) so eventually this catchup session ended with us whipping our phones out and playing games on it. Still, it was a fun catchup session, considering how most of us don't see each other for... well... years... ><

Back to Big Bang Theory!

So many chatswood posts!

I live right next to chatswood and haven't been to any of those places...

What's that Japanese place and was it good? Would be useful to have a good Japanese restaurant nearby.

Japanese place was Toraya, it's upstairs of the Mandarin Centre near the food court. It's pretty good, their food is quite fresh, but gotta agree with the rest on eatability, it lacks interior decorating.

Hello! Happy cafe- there's one in Strathfield and Parramatta too, is opposite Ten Ren~ they have nice cakes there =D

Mamak, yea, you know where that is =P other side of station.

Toraya.. gotta keep that in mind. The photos looked good.

As for Hello!Happy, the cakes look creamy though. Not big on creamy cakes.

Mamak, yep, I know where it is, haven't felt the need to go there yet!

Hm, why does the main part of 47 look as though it wants to die? Well I guess it's better than the fungus ridden state that it was in before =P

Cute cats by the way~ First photo almost looks like a small tiger.

=D Did you say Scary looks like a tiger?? aww, that is so cute.

To the lurker who told me it's really just three pictures of the one cat, you're wrong! Latti's head is half blonde half brunette, but Scary's patch isn't so obvious.

@Sukari: you said the roti was a sneeze, you did.
